Low

I had written a long diatribe about the state of the arts, but it came across as the rant of a miserable old git. So I'm not going to post it in the spirit of not wishing to sound like a stuck recording.

someone has to write about the state of everything to help keep the rest of us awake! Ranting - you can't beat it! Stuck recordings, they have their place too, I have to say that having done such a huge amount of it this last year myself !! Each time you go over it though doesn't it shift everything just a tadd till eventually the way clears a little?

This is true. I think perhaps writing the rant pushed me a bit out of the gloom in which I was and made it seem redundant. It wasn't even about much that was important.
